What you get on every plan
Every plan is the whole product. Accuracy, automatic punctuation, filler removal, the words you teach it, 99+ languages, voice commands and offline mode are all on the free tier. Two things change when you pay: the word limit comes off, and you can drop in a recording and get text back.

How much does JotMic cost?
JotMic is free to start with no card. Unlimited dictation is $8 a month, or $80 a year. There is also a one-off Lifetime price of $249 that never renews. One account covers both a Mac and a PC.
Is there a free version of JotMic?
Yes. It is free to start with no card, and every feature is included except transcribing recorded files. You get 5,000 words, and they never expire. After that, dictation stops until you upgrade.
Does the free allowance expire or reset?
Neither. It is one allowance for the life of the account, not a monthly one and not a trial with a clock on it. Leave JotMic alone for six months and it is exactly where you left it.
Can I buy JotMic once instead of subscribing?
Yes. Lifetime is $249 paid once. It is not a subscription, it does not renew, and it includes everything in Pro. Most dictation apps in this category are subscription only.
Is JotMic cheaper if I pay yearly?
Yes. Pro is $8 a month billed monthly, or $80 for a year — two months free, which works out at $6.67 a month.
What is the difference between the free and paid plans?
Two things: the paid plans have no word limit, and they can transcribe recorded audio and video files you drop in. Everything else — accuracy, punctuation, custom vocabulary, 99+ languages, voice commands, offline mode — is on the free tier too.
Do I need to buy JotMic twice for my Mac and my PC?
No. One account covers both, and there is no per-device or per-seat charge. Your custom words and your settings follow you between machines.
Can I get a refund?
Yes. Email surya@jotmic.com and it gets sorted out. You are emailing the person who built it, not a queue.
